MTN Group Unveils AI Chatbot for Its Mobile Money Platform

MTN Group has revealed a Chatbot service based on Artificial intelligence for its mobile money service MoMo.

This Chatbot was integrated in MTN Mobile Money (Momo) to help communicate with customers and help them with fast guides or answers. With the Chatbot, you should experience less hassles using MTN MoMo.

For those that are aware, MTN also revealed an instant messaging app dubbed Ayoba, it is expected that this Chatbot will be added to this platform as well which for me will be cool.
MTN Mobile Money Chatbot is the first of its kind in Africa and was earlier unleased in Cote d'Ivoire around May 2019 and it is expected to be rolled out across other MTN MoMo footprint soon.

“Harnessing modern technologies like Artificial Intelligence can improve in scale, how MTN interacts with customers, enabling the customers to reach us anytime and anywhere, through a variety of channels including social networks and messaging applications.

“We can also harness the power of Artificial Intelligence to provide our customers with the right answers to their questions at the right time.
